Hey gang, Long time since I've just talked to ya'll, ya? Wanted to change that. At the beginning of the year, I underwent major surgery and only recently am I starting to be able to do a lot of the simple things I previously took for granted. Art included. It made me realise that I want to embrace what few skills I have in life and work a bit harder on them. Rather than constantly seek perfection in my work, I just want to.. create, I guess. Create for myself, for others, and to simply share those imperfections with those who want to enjoy them with me. I'm a slow artist, which is one of my flaws that has kept me from feeling good enough to share my work with people regularly and think anyone would actually care, but I'm going to be trying really hard to shake off that mindset now. Posting some art here and there on dA has made me realise that some of you do just.. enjoy artwork, a lot like myself, and don't care if comes out once a week or once a month.
